German Sniper’s Badge

This high-quality replica of the Sniper’s Badge (Scharfschützenabzeichen) faithfully reproduces the German military decoration awarded during the final stages of World War II. The original badge was cloth-embroidered in an oval shape with a field-grey/green background. It featured the head of a black eagle facing right, with white feathers, ochre eye, and a closed beak, partially surrounded by oak leaves and an acorn (source). The badge was issued in three classes:
