Largometraje "El mate de Morphy"
“El mate de Morphy” será un thriller de acción producido por NOIDENTITY Films y dirigido por Joaquín Ortega, ambientado en plena 2ª Guerra Mundial entre los años 1940 y 1942. La historia se desarrolla en tres países europeos, Polonia, Alemania y Checoslovaquia. Los protagonistas de este thriller son, un Teniente de las SS, Derek Luften, y dos francotiradores soviéticos Lyudmila y Boris, los cuales han sido detectados por el escuadrón de la muerte del Teniente Luften. Aquí comienza un viaje de honor y justicia para los protagonistas que se convertirá en una jugada de ajedrez, y donde el mate de Morphy cobra un sentido dentro de esta historia llena de acción y suspense.
Es una película ambiciosa de cine bélico y donde aparecen los componentes esenciales que hay en cualquier película de guerra. En este caso el guión está inmerso en las conspiraciones dentro del Tercer Reich, y paralelamente se nos cuenta una historia protagonizada por Lyudmila Pavlichenko, unas de las francotiradoras soviéticas más famosas de la 2ª Guerra Mundial. El punto de vista de la resistencia alemana es el que prima en esta película, ya que consideremos que se ha de contar la historia desde otras ópticas que resultan muy interesantes para el público que consume este tipo de largometrajes.
